Contemporary Art Museum Reina Sofia<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The European political situation in the late 19th century\u00a0and beginning of the 20th century, called the interwar period of the 20th century, the Spanish civil war and the discovery of new technologies provoked an artistic reaction known as avant-garde and contemporary painting.

Thyssen Bornemisza Museum<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This foundation includes paintings of many foreigner painters which are not represented in Spanish museums from the gothic style (14th and 15th centuries)<\/em> to pop art, and figure painting of the \u201880s which is is how this museum complements those exhibited in museums such as the Prado Museum and the Reina Sofia Museum.<\/p>\n
